The Club Car DS and Precedent 48-Volt Forward and Reverse Switch is the second type of two basic style switches used on golf carts. The first type is the series switch. This is a large, copper contacted button with heavy cables connecting its contacts directly to terminals on the motor. It will have a large, lever-style handle that you have to crank from left to right to shift.
