There are two basic types of oil filters. You have a drop-in style oil filter, commonly used on the twin-cylinder engines, and the spin-on style Oil Filter like we have here for the Club Car DS & Precedent models. This style is more common in the real world as well. You may be used to seeing this type of filter if you change your oil on your car or truck yourself. Not too many cars out there that use a bolt-on anymore.

This oil filter fits the Club Car DS and Precedent models that are 1992 and newer. Before that, the manufacturer used another setup. If you want to make sure you are getting the right one check your manual and cross-reference our aftermarket part to these OEM numbers, 1038879-01 and 1016467. Do not think you can just get away with an oil filter; if you haven't got it already, there is an air filter and a fuel filter too.
