The golf cart Solenoid Resistor fits select Club Car, Columbia, Harley Davidson, and EZGO models. This is a very crucial statement as they are golf carts out there that do not use them. Not that they can run without them, more along the lines of if you install a resistor on a golf cart that does not call for one. You could melt your controller and be out close to five hundred dollars as well as put yourself and your passengers in the line of an actual fire.The solenoid resistor is for carts with speed controllers, but just because it has a controller does not mean it needs one. Would you mind checking your manual before ordering? Just because there was one on your solenoid does not mean it was supposed to be there.
